What are we doing

UAV

3D modeling is the construction of a model of an object in three-dimensional space. Modern 3D modeling technologies make it possible to construct complex and three-dimensional models, carry out testing and make changes to them at various levels.

Creating a three-dimensional model is a complex and time-consuming process that represents a kind of art. To achieve realism, it is necessary to understand the features of modeling and correctly carry out calculations throughout the entire modeling process.

3D modeling allows you to obtain a model of an object even before the production of test samples and, therefore, understand the weaknesses of the project and determine its compliance with the technical specifications.

Another significant advantage of 3D modeling is the ability to see a three-dimensional image of the device being developed. 3D modeling makes it possible to check the validity of ideas, check the operation of a structure, or understand the approximate weight of a future UAV.

This approach to production can significantly reduce the production time of UAVs and increase not only the quantity, but also the quality of products.

All these advantages of 3D modeling led our team to use not only 3D modeling when designing UAVs, but also building UAVs using the 3D printing method.
Currently, our team has the necessary experience, knowledge and conditions to develop 3D models of UAVs. We also have the ability to print 3D models and conduct test flights.

Airman Solutions is registered manufactures in International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) with number 1905.

We are one of the first to produce UAVs in the country. We are also one of the first to use 3D printing for this. Since the company was founded, we have created several UAVs and are actively operating them, gaining experience and accumulating knowledge. We can design and manufacture small UAVs using 3D design and printing methods. Using this approach to design and manufacture gives a time and cost advantage over the traditional approach.

It also eliminates limitations such as distance and borders, as the 3D model can be easily and quickly sent to the customer anywhere in the world!
We have sufficient capabilities to produce small UAVs. And if necessary, these capabilities can be increased in a relatively short time.

Everyone knows how dangerous it is to work at height. Especially if it is windy or drizzling. It is even more dangerous if the worker has an attack of fear of heights. However, all this can be forgotten.

Our company provides services for inspection of high-rise structures using drones.
We use proven solutions, and our staff is considered one of the most experienced in the country.

Inspection of a high-rise structure is carried out after prior approval with the relevant authorities.
A permit for the flight is obtained for each flight.
Each case is assessed from the flight safety point of view. Existing hazards are taken into account and safety risks are managed.

With us, the inspection will be carried out safely and legally at reasonable prices!

Using the accumulated experience and knowledge, our team will help you prepare documentation on the flight operation of the UAV, various logbooks (component operating time logbook, pilot/technician experience logbook, battery charging logbook…) or instructions and other documents defining the operation and repair of the UAV.

The birth of an aircraft is marked by a trial flight, but this is preceded by a stage of detailed research and calculations. The correctness of the calculations will be confirmed by a successful trial flight.
Throughout the life cycle of a UAV, it is modernized: the design, components or software are changed. And such changes are verified by test flights.
 Our team, using 3D printing methods, can create small UAVs developed by other developers and conduct test or trial flights.
 Flights are carried out by authorized UAV pilots in accordance with current requirements.

Even before purchasing a drone, you will probably think about how to maintain its airworthiness or how to eliminate a possible malfunction?
You can get answers or qualified service from us for all questions that arise during operation or related to the maintenance of the UAV produced by our company.
 As a developer, we have the most reliable and complete information on repair practices, as well as modifications made to the UAV structure.

In our days, time is highly valued and it is important to be able to distribute it effectively without forgetting about your hobby. However, before you start flying, you need to undergo training and obtain permits from the relevant authorities.
If you do not know what to do or do not have time to fill out applications, our Company will help you.

The legal support for UAV pilots provided by our Company includes the following services:
  • obtaining permission from the Information and Security Service of the Republic of Moldova
  • obtaining permission from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova
  • coordinating and submitting an application to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova to perform a demonstration flight and obtain permission to perform flights

The work of a pilot-observer is necessary, and in some cases – mandatory, due to the need to ensure flight safety. This work is not easy and is responsible.
The duties of a pilot-observer can be performed by pilots who have undergone UAV pilot training and have sufficient experience to ensure flight safety.

The pilot-observer is the assistant commander. In case of incapacity of the aircraft commander, the pilot-observer assumes the rights and responsibility of the commander for the aircraft.

The pilot-observer is required to take part in the preparation for the flight and closely observe the development of the flight in order to be always ready to assume responsibility and authority to control the aircraft, either by order of the commander, or in case of incapacity of the latter.

The pilot-observer interacts with other employees of the company or unauthorized persons in the flight area and, in addition to fulfilling the duties assigned to him, also performs additional duties assigned to him by the aircraft commander, based on the conditions of the flight.

The pilot-observer strictly complies with the current rules of the air and the requirements set out in company documentation, within his level of responsibility.

The pilot-observer takes part in the pre-flight preparation, gets acquainted with the “NOTAM” information, meteorological information (weather forecast, runway condition), as well as other documents containing information on the technical condition of the UAV.

The pilot-observer, as a rule, performs the following:
·      Constantly monitors the airspace in the area of flights;
·      Constantly monitors the situation “on the ground”;

The pilot-observer helps the PIC by taking part in the exchange of information, observing the development of the flight, as well as observing the airspace and the situation “on the ground”.

Information about the environment perceived by the pilot-observer is transmitted to the PIC in order to inform the PIC and contribute to the safe performance of the flight. Such information may include:
·      Appearance of a manned aircraft in the flight zone (with a pilot on board);
·      Appearance of another UAV in the flight zone;
·      Dangerous approach to another UAV if formation flights are being performed;
·      The location of another UAV, if group flights are performed and it is required to take their place in the ranks;
·      Changes in meteorological conditions (wind speed and direction, cloudiness, etc.);

After the flight, the pilot-observer assists the commander:
·      in the exact determination of the UAV landing site, if the landing was made in a hard-to-reach place or at a considerable distance from the launch site;
·      in the inspection of the UAV in order to identify damage and check its performance;
·      in carrying UAV/UAV parts;
·      disassembling and preparing the UAV for transportation.

The UAV maintenance personnel who maintain the UAV’s airworthiness are UAV technicians.
The work of a UAV technician is mandatory due to the need to ensure flight safety by maintaining the UAV’s satisfactory technical condition.
This is a responsible and difficult, but also interesting job.

The duties of a UAV technician can be performed by pilots who have completed UAV pilot training and have sufficient experience in assembling, repairing, and servicing UAVs of a certain type.

A UAV technician is required to participate in the pre-flight preparation of the UAV. This obliges him to perform the work specified in the checklist in order to prepare the UAV for flight, identify and eliminate the detected malfunction, and also hand over the UAV to the aircraft commander.

A technician often acts as a pilot observer and helps the aircraft commander with landing, prompts about the surrounding environment, etc. After landing, the technician performs an external inspection of the UAV, prepares the UAV for the next flight, or prepares the aircraft for loading for transportation to the base.

The UAV technician strictly adheres to the current flight rules and requirements set out in the company documentation, within the limits of his responsibility.
